Life Coach vs Counseling
A Life coach works with clients on how to work toward their goals. With a coach you will experience a personal cheerleader, an accountability partner who is judgment free, someone who can see your vision with you and aid in bringing it to life. Life coaches focus on actions and results. They look to measure client’s success with performance indicators and behavior outcomes.
A Counselor works with clients on why certain behaviors patterns exist in one’s life. A counselor has a mental health lens that allows them to use diagnosis to guide the conversation and treatment plan. A counselor works to unveil the unconscious mind and bring those thoughts to the forefront and help make sense of it. A counselor helps you to recover from past traumas, helps you address your depression and anxiety should you experience those symptoms.
